What is it?
Ethicai is an AI chatbot, trained to discuss, educate and test responsible and ethical AI principles and methods. This project speculates on the possibility of using the pre-trained ethical bot, Ethicai as a regulatory structure for the development of future chatbots for various industrial uses, for example, medical, finance, retail, and entertainment.
What does it do?
Ethicai educates AI users, developers, and designers on the principles, methods, and techniques of ethical artificial intelligence. Via a digital web interface, users can interact directly with the conversational bot Ethicai, regarding these principles and practices. Ethicai will advise as well as prompt questions and education on ethical AI.

Why?
We are witnessing a massive shift in the industry, where previously human-operated systems are moving towards fully automated fronts, what does this mean for us and what issues can be expected? Questions such as these are challenging the very foundations of ethics and cultural integrity that constitute what it means to be human. Here we can observe the predicted growth of the artificial intelligence global market over the coming 6 years.
Ethical vs Responsible AI
It is common within the AI industry to use the term ‘responsible AI’ as opposed to ‘ethical AI’, debate has arisen surrounding the possibility of truly ethical AI, however, considering that artificial intelligence is trained and educated based on our own human research it is possible that ethical principles can be instilled within artificial systems.
Where & Who?
Ethicai fits within the industry of Artificial Intelligence Research and Development, its design will aid in the education and exploration of responsible AI development and use, providing a tool and insight into the potential for responsible and/or regulated AI.
Design
Ethicai is used via two mediums, firstly a website interface allows users to directly chat with Ethicai, question and test lines on inquiry. The second form is a physical device, which it can be communicated with via speech. To the right is the web-based interface, featuring a central chat hub. Below is the speech device that allows users to verbally communicate with Ethicai.
How?
Ethicai has been trained on a primary data framework that establishes a foundation for ethical and responsible AI. The data includes documentation, research, conversation, and notes discussing and supporting regulated responsible artificial intelligence. This base structure sets a precedent and educational basis for designers and developers alike to use and build upon in their own projects.

Eco Dome
These eco-structures serve as an environmentally friendly and self-sufficient escape. The dome frame is designed to be made out of a bioceramic, each panel individually replaceable, offering modularity that allows the user to construct the dome to suit their needs and environment.
